Front-End Developer Internship

We're looking to hire a highly motivated and eager to learn individual to join our frontend development internship programme. **About Bitlab Digital** Bitlab Digital is a web development studio based in Mont Kiara, KL. We build digital products for clients across Malaysia, Brunei, and Singapore, from government portals to travel platforms to financial services websites. Our stack is Vue 3, TypeScript, .NET Core, Umbraco CMS, and SQL Server. We ship real things for real clients, and our interns work on real projects too. **The Role** We're offering an internship opportunity for aspiring frontend developers to gain hands-on experience in a professional development environment. You'll work alongside our experienced team, contributing to real client projects and learning modern web development practices using Vue 3 and TypeScript. **What You'll Do** * Building and refining UI components in Vue 3 with TypeScript * Working on live client projects, not just internal tools or tutorial exercises * Translating Figma designs into clean, responsive interfaces * Collaborating with backend developers to integrate APIs * Writing code that your teammates can read and maintain **What We're Looking For** * Studying Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or something adjacent * Comfortable with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript * Familiar with at least one JS framework - Vue 3, React, Angular, Next.js, Nuxt etc (Vue is a bonus) * TypeScript experience is a plus, but not a dealbreaker * You take feedback well and ask questions when you're stuck * You show up, follow through, and care about the quality of what you produce **What You'll Get** * Hands-on experience with a Vue 3 \+ TypeScript codebases used in production * Mentorship from an experienced dev team * Exposure to the full software delivery cycle, from requirements to deployment * A realistic picture of what professional web development actually looks like **LIFE AT BITLAB** We strive to offer a motivational, supportive, and efficient environment with teams empowered to influence decisions.
