Summer QA Tester \& Product Associate Intern We’re looking for a motivated and ambitious **Summer QA Tester \& Product Associate** to join Marketpal during an exciting stage of growth and product launch. This is a **manual testing and customer-facing role**, so no software development or technical experience is required. However, any previous experience in testing, customer-facing roles, or startups would be considered a bonus. You’ll work directly with the **founder, developers, and early customers**, helping test the platform, onboard users, gather feedback, and improve the overall customer experience. If you enjoy technology, communication, problem solving, and working in a fast-moving startup environment, this role is for you. What You’ll Be Doing * Carry out daily manual testing sessions with the founder and development team * Test platform features and identify bugs, issues, or usability problems * Work in a hybrid/workspace startup environment alongside leadership * Meet with potential clients and assist with live product demos * Gather customer feedback and report insights directly to the CEO and Head of Development * Help onboard new clients onto the platform * Observe customer behaviour and identify areas for product improvement * Support the team during product launch and execution * Help improve the customer experience through feedback and testing What Makes This Role Different This role combines elements of: * Manual QA Testing * Customer Support * Product Feedback * Client Onboarding ***You won’t just test software — you’ll help shape how customers experience the product from day one.*** You’ll gain direct exposure to: * Startup operations * Product launches * SaaS customer onboarding * Real-world customer feedback * Founder-led execution Ideal Candidate We’re looking for someone who is: * Curious and detail-oriented * Comfortable speaking with people * Interested in startups and technology * Organised and proactive * A good communicator * Able to think from the customer’s perspective * Tech-savvy and able to quickly learn new technologies and software tools such as Jira and AI platforms Role Details * Part-time / Summer Position * 2–3 days per week * £13 per hour * Hybrid working environment * Flexible for students and recent graduates Why Join Marketpal?
