[Bosch R&D - Internship] Java Web Developing Intern

**Company Description** Bosch first started in Vietnam with a representative office in 1994\. Bosch has its main office in Ho Chi Minh City, with branch offices in Hanoi and Da Nang, and a Powertrain Solutions plant in the Dong Nai province to manufacture push belt for continuously variable transmissions (CVT) in automobiles. In addition, Bosch operates a software and engineering solutions from product engineering, tool development \& automation as well as testing \& validation solutions (Bosch Global Software Technologies Vietnam). In July 2014, Bosch set up a new Automotive R\&D Center, located in Ho Chi Minh City. The continuous growth of this Centre is in line with Bosch’s strategy in Vietnam, which aims at becoming a manufacturing and R\&D hub in the Southeast Asian region. For further information, please visit our website: www.bosch.com.vn **Job Description** * Support the development of Java-based web applications for Engineering use cases using modern frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, RESTful APIs). * Understand the architecture of web systems, including frontend-backend interaction, APIs, database integration, and deployment environments. * Assist in designing and implementing backend services, including business logic, data processing, and API development. * Support database design and integration (e.g., SQL/NoSQL), including data modeling and query optimization. - Participate in testing activities such as unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of applications. * Assist in integrating applications with enterprise platforms (e.g., Azure, DevOps pipelines, internal APIs, or other engineering systems). * Support documentation, code quality improvement, and version control practices (e.g., Git). * Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with engineering requirements. **Qualifications** * Student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields. * Strong foundation in Java programming and object-oriented design principles. * Basic understanding or experience (academic projects acceptable) in web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs). * Familiarity with Java frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot) and database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) is a plus. * Knowledge of software development lifecycle, version control (Git), and testing concepts is an advantage. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Willingness to learn new technologies, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Good communication skills in English and ability to work in an international team environment. **Additional Information** * A learning-driven, professional, inclusive multinational work environment fosters personal growth and expands professional networks. * An attractive monthly allowance. * Bus transportation and lunch are provided daily. * Full-paid leaves for Vietnam public holidays, birthday, sickness and 01 day per working month. * Opportunities to become a Bosch associate after graduation.
