IT Automation & API Integration Intern

Then this internship at Aalberts hydronic flow control is the perfect opportunity for you. **Your responsibilities** * Supporting API integrations between systems and platforms * Investigating automation opportunities within E-commerce and ERP processes * Supporting the optimisation of automated order flows * Analysing system connections and data flows * Supporting middleware and integration projects * Assisting with testing activities and system validations * Helping improve data quality and process efficiency * Creating insights and documentation around automation opportunities * Supporting future integrations with marketplaces and digital platform **Examples of projects** * SAP S/4HANA integration projects * API integrations between ERP, E-commerce and external platforms * Marketplace automation flows * Order automation and return processing * Automation of manual operational processes * Investigation into new automation technologies and tools * Dashboarding and process monitoring **What we are looking for** HBO or WO student in: * ICT * Software Engineering * Business IT \& Management * Computer Science * Technical Informatics * Data \& Digital Business **Affinity with:** * APIs * System integrations * ERP systems * Automation * E-commerce platforms * Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills * Proactive self-starter mentality * Curious and eager to investigate improvements * Strong communication skills * Good command of English * Experience with SAP, APIs, JSON/XML, middleware, automation tooling or data analysis is considered a strong plus. **Your role** Within the E-commerce \& Digital department, you will support the further development of our IT and automation landscape. You will work on projects where ERP systems, APIs, marketplaces, customer portals and automation flows come together. You will help investigate how we can automate more business processes and improve system integrations between SAP S/4HANA and external digital platforms. This is not a passive internship. We are looking for a proactive self-starter who likes to investigate opportunities independently, thinks analytically and enjoys improving systems and processes.
