**Responsibilities**
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and translate them into analytical solutions using Python, R, or SAS.
* Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load large datasets from diverse sources such as Hadoop, Spark, or cloud storage like AWS.
* Develop and train machine learning models utilizing frameworks like TensorFlow or other machine learning libraries for predictive analytics and natural language processing tasks.
* Conduct data mining and exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies within big data environments.
* Assist in deploying models into production environments through model deployment techniques ensuring scalability and efficiency.
* Support database design efforts to optimize storage and retrieval of structured and unstructured data using SQL or NoSQL solutions like linked data systems.
* Contribute to the development of dashboards and reports using tools such as Looker or other analytics platforms to visualize insights for stakeholders.
**Requirements**
* Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields with a strong foundation in machine learning principles.
* Demonstrated experience with programming languages including Python, R, Java, C, or Bash (Unix shell).
* Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Talend, or similar ETL tools.
* Knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS for deploying scalable AI solutions.
* Understanding of database design principles along with proficiency in SQL for data querying.
* Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or similar libraries for model training and evaluation.
* Exposure to natural language processing techniques and AI concepts is highly desirable.
* Strong analytical skills complemented by the ability to work independently on complex projects involving data mining and analytics.
