You will be part of a close-knit and innovative group that works with cutting edge technology aimed at energy conservation including machine learning, edge-computing and data fusion, with focus on making this world a better place for future generations. **General Description** We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented R\&D Lab Support Co-op to join our dynamic R\&D team. This role involves assisting with various lab tasks, including Hardware and Software testing, re-work, device programming, system level testing, site visits, and more. The ideal candidate will have a background in both software and hardware, with a preference for those seeking a degree in Electrical Engineering. **Key Responsibilities**  **Testing and Analysis:** Assist in the testing of new products and prototypes, conducting performance and reliability tests, and analyzing results.  **Lab Maintenance:** Maintain and organize lab equipment, ensuring all tools and materials are in good working condition.  **Site Visits:** Participate in site visits to gather data, install equipment, and provide on-site support as needed.  **Documentation:** Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including test reports, user manuals, and design specifications.  **Collaboration:** Work closely with engineers and other team members to support various R\&D projects and initiatives. **Qualifications** * **Education:** Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering. * **Experience:** + Experience in PCB design and re-work is preferred. + Experience with python scripting and execution. + Familiarity with testing procedures and Lab equipment. * **Skills:** + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. + Effective communication and teamwork abilities. + Proficiency in relevant software tools and programming languages. * **Additional Requirements:** + Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. + Willingness to travel for site visits as needed. + Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to innovative projects. **What We Offer** * Hands-on experience in a fast-paced R\&D environment. * Opportunity to work on innovative projects with a talented team. * Mentorship and professional development opportunities. * Compensation and potential for future career opportunities.
