Data Scientist Intern

**Data Scientist Intern – Data Warehouse \& Analytics** **Location:** Hybrid/Remote **Duration:** Summer 2026 **Position Overview** We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Data Scientist Intern** to support the design and development of our enterprise data warehouse and analytics environment. This internship provides hands-on experience across the full data lifecycle, from requirements gathering and data modeling to pipeline development, analytics, and dashboard creation. The intern will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics teams to help build scalable data solutions and deliver actionable insights using modern analytics technologies, including **Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)**. This role is ideal for a student interested in data engineering, analytics, business intelligence, and enterprise-scale data platforms. **Key Responsibilities** * Assist in gathering and documenting business and technical requirements for data and analytics initiatives * Support the design and development of enterprise data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes * Help build and maintain data warehouse structures, including staging, transformation, and reporting layers * Analyze source systems and data quality issues to support data integration efforts * Participate in data modeling, validation, and testing activities * Develop SQL queries, data transformations, and automation scripts * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability * Create reports, visualizations, and dashboards within the **Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)** environment * Assist in documenting technical designs, workflows, and operational procedures * Support troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives for data systems **Required Qualifications** * Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in: * + Data Science + Computer Science + Information Systems + Statistics + Engineering + or a related technical field * Basic understanding of databases, SQL, and data structures * Familiarity with Python, R, or another programming language used for data analysis * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and collaboration abilities * Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a team-oriented environment **Preferred Qualifications** * Exposure to data warehousing concepts and ETL processes * Familiarity with cloud analytics or BI platforms such as Oracle Analytics Cloud, Power BI, or Tableau * Understanding of relational databases and dimensional modeling concepts * Experience with data visualization or reporting tools * Knowledge of APIs, scripting, or automation concepts is a plus **What You Will Gain** * Real-world experience building enterprise data pipelines and analytics solutions * Exposure to modern data warehouse architecture and cloud analytics platforms * Hands-on experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud and enterprise reporting tools * Opportunity to collaborate with experienced data engineers and business stakeholders * Insight into end-to-end analytics project delivery in a production environment
