This role is perfect for motivated students eager to develop practical skills while making a tangible impact in a fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities** * Assist in developing and updating project schedules using tools like MS Project or similar software to ensure timely completion of tasks * Support the preparation of technical drawings and schematics utilizing AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, or SolidWorks for various engineering projects * Contribute to manufacturing and fabrication processes by analyzing workflows and identifying opportunities for lean manufacturing improvements * Participate in system design activities, including electrical schematics, mechanical layouts, and civil engineering considerations * Conduct root cause analysis on operational issues, supporting troubleshooting efforts with debugging techniques and system diagnostics * Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on product development, maintenance planning, and system integration efforts * Help prepare documentation such as GD\&T (Geometric Dimensioning \& Tolerancing), schematics, and technical reports to support project milestones **Skills** * Proficiency in project scheduling software and familiarity with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, or SolidWorks * Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication techniques, and mechanical design principles * Knowledge of electrical engineering concepts including schematics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and system troubleshooting * Experience with systems engineering methodologies and system design practices across civil, mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering fields * Programming skills in Python or C/C\+\+ are advantageous for automation and data analysis tasks * Strong math skills with an ability to perform root cause analysis and debugging of complex systems * Familiarity with GD\&T standards, schematic diagrams, product development cycles, and maintenance procedures This paid internship is designed to provide you with valuable industry experience while developing your technical expertise.
