Intern, Avionics Systems Integrator (Fall 2026)

### **During your internship, you will contribute to:**
* Work on one or more of the following avionics systems: AFCS, Communication (VHF, HF, SATCOM, Datalink), Navigation (ADF, VOR, ILS, DME, TCAS, Transponder, IRS, GPS, FMS, Weather Radar), Displays (EFIS, EICAS, HUD, SVS), Information/Maintenance \& Recording (IMS, OMS, Data load, CVR, FDR, AHMS).
* Assist an experienced integrator to define and manage the systems and subsystems requirements to ensure safety, certification \& aircraft design requirements and objectives are met.
* Work with the system suppliers as well as other interfacing suppliers and disciplines on the program to ensure the system is properly designed to be integrated smoothly on the aircraft.
* Write reports and documentation to support avionics system certifications.
* Support ARP4754A system and aircraft requirement verification and validation.
* Support the Final Assembly Line and In-Service Aircrafts for any design related issues.
**During your internship, you will learn:**

* The process for managing design changes within a large‑scale engineering organization
* The many aspects of aircraft lifecycle management
* Requirements management
* Priority management and time management
### **What we are looking for:**
* You have completed 3rd year of a 4-year program in Electrical, Electronics, Software, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
* You have knowledge with specification, function, integration and testing related to Avionics systems
* You have knowledge on how avionics systems integrate and interact to the overall aircraft
* You have knowledge with the industry standards DO-178, DO-160 and ARP4754 (Asset)
* You have strong communication skills (oral and written)
* You have strong work planning structure and prioritization
* You have the ability to work well in a team environment
**Boarding Information:**
* Location: Administrative Centre (CA)
* Duration: 8 months
* Flexible workplace-Hybrid
*It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.*
