Optical Test Coop/Intern

**Job Description** **Position:** Optical Test Coop/Intern **Number of Position(s):** 1 **Date:** July to August, 2026 **Location:** On-site **EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS** Currently a candidate for a master's, or bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada. **How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn** **As a part of our team, you will:** * Perform characterization testing and analysis of optical PON modules. * Assist optical designers and development engineers with the testing of pluggable optical modules and analysis of test results. * Duties will include the operation of optical test equipment, automation of test setups, and post-processing and analysis of test results. **Key Skills And Experience** **You have:** * Desired experience using electronic and optical test equipment: BERT, OSA, DCA, Network Analyzer, high-speed scope, etc. * Familiar with programmatic design principles and experience programming in MATLAB, Python, and/or C. * Good verbal and written communication skills **It would be nice if you also had:** * Optical courses during the education program.
