Unity Developer Intern

**About us** XR Solutions builds augmented reality tools for industrial clients — think factory floors, heavy machinery, complex maintenance workflows. We use machine learning to make AR actually useful in those environments, not just flashy. Our team is small, the problems are real, and the tech ships to production. **The role** We are seeking a dedicated XR Developer Intern to join our team. You’ll design, build, and implement XR applications in Unity for real-world industrial use cases — contributing directly to a product in development and heading toward launch. You’ll work closely with developers and be expected to take ownership in a fast-paced environment. Remote to start. **What you’ll do** * Design, build, and implement XR applications in Unity * Develop interactive UI and features for AR environments * Work with AR frameworks (e.g., ARKit) * Create and iterate on 3D assets (Blender, Maya, or similar) * Collaborate with developers to bring features into production * Conduct research on XR hardware (HMD) and technology solutions * Contribute to product development and pilot deployments * Test and iterate on XR features in real use cases **What we’re looking for** * Strong experience with **Unity (AR/XR development)** * Experience with **AR frameworks (e.g., ARKit)** * Experience with **3D tools (Blender, Maya, or similar)** * Familiarity with **Figma** * Understanding of Augmented Reality principles **Nice to have:** * Experience with Xcode * Experience working with HMDs in XR environments We value people who can work across both design and implementation and are comfortable taking ownership. **Important to know** * This is an **unpaid internship** * Strong performance can lead to a **paid role** This role involves contributing directly to implementation, not just concept work. **What you’ll gain** * Hands-on experience building XR applications * Exposure to real-world industrial use cases * Experience working toward a product launch and pilot customer * Insight into working in a small, fast-moving team **How to apply** If you’re excited about this opportunity and eager to learn, please send your resume outlining your interest in the position.
