Software Testing Intern

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Testing Intern to join our QA team. The intern will assist in testing web and mobile applications, identifying bugs, documenting issues, and ensuring the quality of software products before deployment. This internship provides hands-on experience in software quality assurance, manual testing, test case preparation, bug tracking, and software development life cycle (SDLC) processes. Key Responsibilities * Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and desktop applications. * Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts. * Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools. * Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing. * Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers. * Participate in requirement analysis and understand business workflows. * Prepare testing reports and maintain test documentation. * Ensure applications meet functional and usability requirements. * Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities. * Learn and follow QA best practices and testing standards. Required SkillsTechnical Skills * Basic understanding of Software Testing concepts. * Knowledge of SDLC and STLC. * Understanding of Manual Testing methodologies. * Familiarity with test case writing and bug reporting. * Basic knowledge of databases and SQL queries. * Understanding of web applications and browser testing. * Knowledge of API testing concepts is an added advantage. * Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Trello, Postman, or similar tools is a plus. Soft Skills * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Good communication and documentation abilities. * Attention to detail. * Willingness to learn and adapt quickly. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
