**About The Role**
As a Software Developer Intern, you will work with a team of software developers supporting engineering applications in the Westinghouse Instrumentation \& Controls organization. As part of this team, you will collaborate with senior developers in making improvements to enhance the usability of I\&C engineering tools. This effort will include gathering requirements, implementing code changes, testing, and documenting tool features.
You will report to the Supervisor GIC Tools \& Applications and be located at our Warrendale facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Demonstrate a personal commitment to Westinghouse's nuclear safety culture and follow all company policies
* Support the team in understanding customer needs and developing technical solutions across the full software lifecycle
* Develop positive working relationships with team members, internal partners, and collaborating organizations
**Qualifications:**
* Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering
* Minimum GPA of 3\.0
* Completed Sophomore year of college
* C#/Java/Python/SQL, Azure DevOps/Git experience
* No relocation assistance provided
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $22\.69 to $27\.50 per hour.
