Teledyne Scientific Company (TSC) has an opening for part time (24 hours a week) summer intern position in the Optics group in the Integrated Solutions and Systems Division starting July 1, 2026 until September 15, 2026\. **Essential duties**: * Assist with electronics and firmware development for integration of electro-optic devices + Hardware components may include positioning (actuators and sensors), optical sources, modulators and detectors, cameras. * Assist with design documentation and fabrication * Assist with data collection * Support laboratory testing **Desired skills, experience, and qualities**: * Basic electronics skills * Strong software skills * Experience with Linux, Unix, Windows * Understanding hardware and user interface needs for integrated systems * Well organized and detail oriented * Good communication skills and inquisitive mind **Education:** 3rd or 4th year of bachelors degree (BS) is physics, electrical engineering or computer science. **Citizenship Requirements** Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a U.S. Citizen. **Salary Range:** $50,600\.00-$67,500\.000 The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
