Software Engineer I

**Role Summary** We are looking for a Software Engineer I / II to support the design, development, and integration of modern software applications and AI-enabled solutions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in Python development, APIs, cloud platforms, and collaborative software engineering practices. Exposure to AI/GenAI technologies and cloud-native development is highly valued. This role is suited for engineers with foundational to intermediate experience who are eager to grow in backend engineering, AI integration, and cloud technologies. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop, test, and maintain backend services and applications using Python. * Build and integrate REST APIs and work with JSON-based data exchanges. * Support AI and Generative AI feature integrations using existing frameworks, APIs, or cloud AI services. * Collaborate with senior engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions. * Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and deployment activities. * Work with cloud environments such as Azure or AWS for application deployment and support. * Use GitHub for source control, version management, and CI/CD workflows. * Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to performance improvements. * Follow engineering best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines. * Document technical solutions, APIs, and implementation details. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree holder * 1–3 years of software engineering or application development experience. * Proficiency in Python programming. * Basic to intermediate understanding of REST APIs and JSON. * Exposure to AI/GenAI concepts, tools, or integrations. * Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud services. * Experience using GitHub or similar version control tools. * Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. * Strong problem-solving and communication skills. * Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies to support technical workflows and business objectives **Nice to Have** * Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django. * Exposure to OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or other GenAI platforms. * Knowledge of Docker or containerization. * Understanding of CI/CD pipelines. * Experience working with databases (SQL or NoSQL). **We know your well-being and happiness are key to a long and successful career.
