Role Description
**Overview**

**Duties**
* Assist in collecting, cleaning, and transforming raw data using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure accuracy and consistency across datasets.
* Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
* Support project management activities within an Agile framework, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and review sessions to ensure timely delivery of data solutions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for database design and analysis.
* Use programming languages such as Python and R to perform statistical analysis, automate routine tasks, and enhance data processing workflows.
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of databases on platforms like Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle, ensuring optimal performance and security.
* Assist in documenting processes using Visio or similar tools while adhering to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices for project execution.
**Experience**
* Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics or a related field with a strong interest in data analysis and visualization.
* Demonstrated proficiency with SQL for querying databases and extracting meaningful insights from large datasets.
* Familiarity with analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker or similar platforms for creating compelling visual reports.
* Basic understanding of database design principles and experience working with relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
* Knowledge of programming languages including Python or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis is highly desirable.
* Exposure to ETL tools such as Talend or VBA scripting will be advantageous for automating data workflows.
