We're Hiring: Software Developer (Full-Time \| On-Site \| Mumbai) About Edulab Edulab is a global platform dedicated to providing experiential learning opportunities for students aged 15 to 29 through international programs across more than 15 countries. We've successfully executed initiatives such as the US Cultural Immersion Institute (funded by the US State Department), the India–China Exchange Program, and the BRIC Internship Program for the Belgian Government. Our committed team supports over 100,000 students each year, helping them expand their perspectives through international internships, study abroad, gap year experiences, and volunteering programs. Role Overview We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our Mumbai team. You will design, develop, test, and maintain web-based and backend applications that power Edulab's global learning programs. You'll collaborate with product, operations, and program managers to translate requirements into clean, scalable technical solutions — while participating in code reviews, API integrations, and ensuring system reliability and security. Required Tech Stack * Frontend: React.js * Backend: Node.js, Express.js * Database: MySQL, TypeORM * Infrastructure: Docker * Auth \& Security: Keycloak What We're Looking For * Strong foundation in Computer Science — data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles * Hands-on experience building and maintaining web applications or REST APIs * Proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js with real-world project experience * Solid understanding of OOP concepts and clean code practices * Experience with version control (Git), RESTful API design, and relational databases * Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and identity/access management (Keycloak) is a strong advantage * Ability to work collaboratively, communicate clearly, and manage tasks with attention to detail * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience * A genuine interest in education, international programs, and building solutions that enhance student experiences is a plus Location: Mumbai (On-Site) Employment Type: Full-Time If you're passionate about technology and want your work to impact thousands of students worldwide, we'd love to hear from you!
