Test developer intern

As a test developer intern, you will actively participate in expanding and maintaining our automated and production testing infrastructure to ensure the quality of our software platform's features, as well as the performance of our various robotic platforms. You will work in collaboration with the software developers on the test team to ensure the development of data collection and analysis solutions, including the deployment of these solutions across the current testing infrastructure. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * Participate in defining test data collection and analysis solutions for system, software, and production tests ; * Document software and database architectures based on the solutions ; * Develop software solutions within the existing testing infrastructure ; * Participate in various activities related to working within a software development team ; * Deploy and maintain these solutions while minimizing the impact on ongoing processes ; * Monitor data to optimize processes and adjust the data collected ; * Participate in setting up dashboards that will allow the analysis of the collected data ; * Provide technical support for the use of the automated testing infrastructure ; * Write documentation. **POSITION REQUIREMENTS** * Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, software engineering, or equivalent (3rd or 4th year) ; * Relevant experience in setting up and/or using databases ; * Relevant programming experience in Python ; * Relevant software development experience within a collaborative team ; * Relevant experience in data analysis ; * Autonomy, proactivity, and team spirit ; * Ability to prioritize one's workload ; * Bilingualism (French and English). **ASSETS** * Experience with testing environments: PyTest and Robot Framework ; * Experience with TypeScript and Reac t; * Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and Jenkins ; * Experience with Jira ; * Experience in automated testing strategies ; * Experience with Linux ; * Relevant experience in JavaScript, shell scripting ; * Having worked in an Agile environment. **INCLUSION AND DIVERSITY** Kinova is committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace for all and acting in a non-discriminatory manner towards individuals regardless of their gender, nationality, minority status, or disability.
