Our internship is designed for individuals who are currently enrolled at an accredited college/university and who will be continuing their studies in the fall. **Responsibilities \& Competencies** Job Duties * Assist in developing and maintaining C\+\+ code for host-side software drivers * Work on small, well-defined tasks under the guidance of experienced engineers * Learn and use existing driver frameworks, APIs, and hardware interfaces * Follow established coding guidelines, version control, and build systems * Collaborate with team members to understand how host software interacts with firmware and hardware Competencies * Basic understanding of programming in C/C\+\+ and Python * Comfortable working in Linux, Windows, or similar environments, including basic command-line usage, building code, and running/debugging applications * Well organized with strong attention to detail; proactively ensures work is accurate * Self-motivated and aptitude to learn quickly * Positive attitude and work ethic; unafraid to ask questions and explore new ideas * Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong sense of professionalism **Qualifications (Requirements)** * Candidates should be seeking a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field * Demonstrated interest in C/C\+\+ and Python through coursework, projects, or personal learning * Able to work independently at times and dedicate a minimum of 20 hours/week * Must be legally authorized to work in the Poland without restriction * Must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your employment and criminal history * Must be 18 years of age or older *Belief in Diversity Synaptics is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to workforce diversity.
