**UE05: £29,588 - £33,951 per annum, pro-rata for part-time staff**
**Information Services Group / Library \& University Collections (L\&UC) / Library Research Support**
**Part-time:** **9 hours per week**
**Fixed-term contract: until 31** **st** **July 2026**
**The prospective post holder must be:**
* Current student at the University of Edinburgh; and residing in the UK.
* Must be a UoE student for the duration of the post and eligible to work 9 hours per week alongside studies.

**This post entails:**
* Learning about the University’s research data archiving service (DataVault), its purpose and functions.
* Creating meaningful reports or dashboards to enable service users monitor and report on their own data assets and provide our support team with service level overviews.
We expect the reporting software solution will be using R Markdown or Power BI.

**Your skills and attributes for success:**
* A student from the University of Edinburgh based in the UK, able to work collaboratively and independently.
* Capacity to engage in detailed data analysis and contribute to project reports.
* Effective communication skills, suitable for contributing to team discussions and project documentation.
Interest and experience in data analysis and creating flexible reports.
