Quality Engineer Intern

In this role, you will play part to help the team ensures the accuracy of analytics and event tracking across iOS and Android apps. You will also test user journeys, validate data payloads, and use debugging tools to find discrepancies so that business and product teams can fully rely on the data. Partnering closely with QA, developers, and data teams, you will help maintain data quality in a large-scale e-commerce environment. ### **Responsibilities:** * **Data Reliability:** Ensure all tracking events fire correctly, accurately, and consistently according to specifications so that data used for business analysis and product decisions is fully reliable. * **Quality Workflows:** Contribute to data quality by participating in large-scale e-commerce engineering workflows. * **Event \& Payload Validation:** Perform testing to verify that events/data trackers in Buyer Apps (Android \& iOS) fire correctly and ensure event payloads (names, parameters, properties, and values) align with documentation. * **Scenario Execution:** Execute testing across various user journey scenarios to prevent missing, duplicated, or incorrectly triggered events. * **Real-Time Debugging:** Inspect data in real time using tracking and debugging tools like proxy/Charles, analytics debug views, or internal tooling. * **Bug Documentation:** Neatly document testing results, log discrepancies or bugs, and report them in a structured manner. * **Cross-Team Coordination:** Coordinate and communicate clearly with QA, developers, and data/product teams to clarify tracking specifications and verify fixes. * **Program Commitment:** Function as an accountable team member by participating fully in the internship program for the designated period. ### **Minimum Qualifications: Requirements:** * **General Requirements:** Open to final-year students or fresh graduates from Computer Science or related Major. ### **Preferred:** * **Hands-on Practice:** Prior experience via coursework projects, previous internships, or personal projects in software development or testing is a plus. * **Tool Exposure:** Prior hands-on use of tools such as Charles Proxy, analytics debug tools, or similar platforms.
