Full-Stack Engineering Internship

We're hiring a motivated **Developer Intern** to join Asente — building the infrastructure for Africa's next-generation cross-border payments. **About Asente/Teliance** We operate a stablecoin-to-mobile-money settlement API that converts USDC/USDT into local African fiat (NGN, KES, GHS, etc.) and delivers it to mobile money wallets in under 60 seconds at a flat 0\.8% fee. Powering diaspora remittances, gig payouts, and B2B payments. **The Role** **Part-time 3-month full-stack engineering internship** on a **live fintech product**. You'll own real integrations that move real money — from API development and database engineering to security hardening and end-to-end testing in sandbox. **Key Responsibilities** * Integrate Flutterwave Transfers, Smile ID (KYC/AML), Privy MPC custody * Build HMAC webhooks, treasury reconciliation, audit logs \& state machines * Work with PostgreSQL, Supabase Edge Functions, TypeScript, React * Write UAT scenarios and validate every corridor end-to-end * Implement security best practices (JWT, RLS, secrets management, idempotency) **What We're Looking For** * Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's in Software Engineering/CS (min. 2 years) * Strong TypeScript/JavaScript (full-stack) * Experience with relational databases \& SQL * **Fintech, blockchain, or Web3 experience is a must** * Comfortable integrating third-party APIs independently * Methodical, security-conscious, and self-directed **Bonus:** * Payments API experience (Flutterwave, Stripe, Paystack, etc.) * Startup experience **What You Get** * Real production impact on a live product * Competitive stipend \+ equity consideration for exceptional candidates * Direct mentorship from the founder \+ reference letter * First-mover experience in African stablecoin fintech **How to Apply** Email **info@teliance.tech** with subject: **Developer Intern — [Your Name]** Include: * Your **cover letter** * GitHub profile **and/or** a portfolio project that demonstrates a **fintech, blockchain, or Web3 application** (e.g. payments integration, wallet, stablecoin flow, smart contract interaction, etc.) Applications without a cover letter and relevant code/portfolio will not be reviewed.
