DomusVesta Software Developer Internship – Spring/Summer 2026
Location: Remote
Type: Internship / Part-time / Flexible
Start Date: Immediate / April 2026
Duration: 3–6 months
About DomusVesta:
DomusVesta is a people-first digital platform connecting households with trusted local professionals, from tradespeople to tutors, carers, and wellbeing providers. Our mission is to strengthen local communities, build trust between neighbours and providers, and provide a reputation infrastructure that empowers everyone involved.
We are in the exciting pilot phase in Leicestershire and are looking for motivated, creative software developers and recent Computer Science graduates to join our team as interns and help build, improve, and scale our platform.
What You’ll Do:
Collaborate with our small, fast-moving team to build and improve the DomusVesta web and mobile platform
Work on front-end, back-end, or full-stack development depending on your skills
Assist with testing, bug fixing, and user experience improvements
Help implement features for our provider and household dashboards
Contribute ideas for scaling the platform and increasing user engagement
Learn hands-on how a digital marketplace operates from concept to pilot launch
What We’re Looking For:
Recent Computer Science graduate or final-year student
Familiarity with web and/or mobile development (React, Node.js, Flutter, Python, or equivalent)
Interest in building impactful technology for local communities
Problem-solving mindset, eagerness to learn, and ability to work independently
Strong communication skills and teamwork attitude
Nice-to-Have:
Experience with UI/UX design
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
Exposure to Agile workflows or version control (Git/GitHub)
