* Assist in developing embedded software and firmware for microcontrollers such as ARM architectures, ensuring robust performance and reliability.
* Collaborate on algorithm design and implementation for sensor data processing, machine learning applications, and signal analysis.
* Support the integration of hardware components including PCB design considerations, sensors, and FPGA modules into functional prototypes.
* Write and maintain code using languages like C, C\+\+, Python, and scripting languages such as Bash or Perl to automate testing and deployment processes.
* Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing embedded systems using tools like Visual Studio, Eclipse, or Simulink.
* Contribute to the development of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) for communication protocols such as TCP/IP, RESTful services, Zigbee, or Ethernet.
* Assist in software testing activities including unit testing, system validation, and continuous integration using tools like Jenkins or SVN. Qualifications
* Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with a strong interest in embedded systems.
* Familiarity with embedded programming languages such as C or C\+\+, along with experience in Linux or other operating systems used in embedded environments.
* Knowledge of hardware interfaces including PCB design considerations, soldering techniques, sensors integration, and signal processing fundamentals.
* Experience with development tools like GitHub, Visual Studio, Eclipse, MATLAB/Simulink or similar platforms.
* Understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, and concepts related to computer networking such as WAN/LAN configurations.
* Exposure to software development methodologies like Agile or Scrum is a plus.
* Strong analysis skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex embedded systems issues efficiently.
* Excellent communication skills to document processes clearly using tools like Confluence or UML diagrams.
