OCC Intern – Intelligent Monitoring, Data & Engineering

The Operations Control Center (OCC) is responsible for the centralized monitoring, analysis, and technical support of wind and solar assets. With the ongoing development of OCC digitalization and intelligent monitoring, this internship focuses on data-driven, automated, and AI-enabled solutions to improve operational efficiency and asset performance. This position is designed as a technical, analytical, and project-based internship, rather than a purely operational role. Interns will contribute to engineering, data, and intelligent OCC projects, with clearly defined technical objectives and deliverables. **Key Responsibilities** The intern will contribute to one or more of the following intelligent OCC workstreams, depending on their background and interests: **1\. Data Analysis \& Intelligent Modeling** * Analyze SCADA and operational datasets from wind and solar assets * Perform data preprocessing, feature extraction, and performance indicator analysis * Apply statistical, signal processing, or machine learning methods for anomaly detection and performance deviation analysis * Translate operational problems into data-driven or model-based conclusions * Produce structured analysis reports, documented methodologies, and reusable analytical workflows **2\. Intelligent OCC Monitoring \& Automation Engineering** * Develop and test intelligent OCC monitoring solutions * Implement automation scripts and analytical pipelines to support monitoring and decision-making * Improve data quality, monitoring reliability, and workflow efficiency through technical solutions * Document monitoring logic, automation methods, and system-level improvements **3\. Technical Projects \& Engineering Delivery** * Participate in technical analysis related to asset operation and performance * Conduct data-supported root cause analysis and performance assessment * Collaborate with OCC engineers and related technical teams on engineering tasks * Deliver reports, technical presentations, and implementable recommendations **Expected Internship Outputs** The intern is expected to deliver at least one clearly defined technical or intelligent OCC outcome, such as: * A data-driven analysis or intelligent monitoring report * A working prototype (algorithm, script, automation, or dashboard) * A technical presentation summarizing methods, results, and conclusions * Documented recommendations supporting OCC digitalization and automation **Requirements** **Major** Bachelor or Master diploma in energy, data, electrical or mechanical **Knowledge \& Skills** 1. Health, Safety and Environment basics 2. Wind \& Solar energy basics 3. Good communication and active listening abilities 4. Team-oriented mindset, while also able to work independently 5. Good ability to manage work under pressure 6. Office suite (Excel, Word, PPT, SharePoint) **Experience** 1. 3 months of experience in an English-speaking country 2. 6 months of work experience **Language** 1. Fluent in French 2. Fluent in English
