Our platform includes business listing pages, SEO-optimized websites, CRM, enquiry-to-order workflows, chat, and AI-driven digital tools. Platione is built using **Angular, Ionic, Java, Spring Boot**, and modern cloud infrastructure. We are continuously evolving the product and need a **detail-oriented Software Testing Intern** to ensure quality, stability, and smooth user experience across devices. **Internship Role Overview** As a **Software Testing Intern**, you will work closely with the engineering team to test **platione.com** across devices, browsers, and form factors. You will be responsible for **manual testing, test case creation, test data preparation**, and gradually contributing to **test automation using Playwright**. This role is ideal for candidates who genuinely want to build a career in **QA, manual testing, and test automation**. **Key Responsibilities1\. Manual Testing** * Test **platione.com** on: * Desktop, tablet, and mobile devices * Different screen sizes and resolutions * Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and mobile browsers * Identify UI issues, functional bugs, broken flows, and usability gaps * Verify fixes and perform regression testing **2\. Test Case \& User Flow Creation** * Understand business flows and user journeys * Create detailed **test cases** and **test scenarios** * Document user flows and edge cases * Prioritize test cases for **critical business flows** such as: * Registration \& login * Listing creation * Search \& discovery * Enquiry, CRM, and order flows **3\. Test Data \& Seeding** * Create and manage test data for different scenarios * Build test data and **seed scripts** for repeatable testing * Validate behaviour with valid, invalid, and boundary data **4\. Test Automation (Playwright)** * Work on **Playwright** or equivalent automation tools * Automate high-priority and repetitive test cases * Maintain and update automation scripts * Collaborate with developers to improve test coverage **Tools \& Tech Stack** * Manual Testing Techniques * **Playwright** (mandatory prior knowledge) * Web testing concepts (DOM, selectors, browser tools) * Angular \& Ionic frontend (basic understanding) * Java \& Spring Boot backend (basic awareness) * Git \& basic command-line usage **Eligibility Criteria (Must Read Carefully)** ✔ Prior knowledge of **Playwright** ✔ Understanding of **manual testing concepts** ✔ Interest in both **manual and automation testing** ✔ Willingness to work **in-office (Monday – Saturday) or few days remote** ✔ Comfortable documenting bugs, test cases, and flows **Do NOT apply if you have no Playwright knowledge or are not interested in testing \& automation.** **Who Should Apply?** * Freshers or final-year students in CS / IT / Engineering * Candidates pursuing QA or Automation Testing careers * Interns who want hands-on, real-product testing experience * Detail-oriented individuals with strong observation skills **What You Will Learn** * Real-world QA processes in a production SaaS product * Manual testing across devices and browsers * Writing effective test cases and scenarios * Test data planning and seeding * Automation testing using Playwright * Collaboration with frontend and backend teams By the end of this internship, you will have **hands-on experience testing a live, scalable platform used by real businesses**.
