GCP DevOps Engineer

**Role description** **Role: GCP DevOps Engineer** **Location: Poland Krakow(2-3 days work from office in a week)** **Job Type: 6 Months contract with possible extension(B2B contract or Sub-contract)** **Description:** * Experience of building a range of Services in a Cloud Service provider ideally GCP * Expert understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure as a Code concepts and techniques * Strong understanding of CICD and available tools * Experience configuring SDN within a CSP VPCs XPN etc * Good understanding of physical networks SubNets Natting Routing * Security and Compliance eg IAM ADFS OAuth and cloud complianceauditingmonitoring tools * Customerstakeholder focus Ability to build strong relationships with Application teams cross functional IT and globallocal IT teams * Good leadership and teamwork skills Works collaboratively in an agile environment with DevOps application pods to provide GCP specific capabilityskills required to deliver the service * Operational effectiveness delivers solutions that align to approved design patterns and security standards * Risk management effectiveness * Excellent skills in at least one of following Python Ruby Java JavaScript Go Groovy Scala * Experienced in full automation and configuration management * A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement change * Set and achieved challenging short medium and long term goals which exceeded the standards in their field * Excellent written and spoken communication skills an ability to communicate with impact ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences * Built effective networks across business areas developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same * A successful track record of delivering complex projects andor programmes utilising appropriate techniques and tools to ensure and measure success * A comprehensive understanding of risk management and proven experience of ensuring ownothers compliance with relevant regulatory processes **Essential Skills:** * Demonstrable Cloud service provider experience ideally GCP infrastructure build and configurations of a variety of services including Compute Storage SDN VPC and XPN * Demonstrable experience of Linux administration and scripting preferably Red Hat * Experience of working with Continuous Integration CI Continuous Delivery CD and continuous testing tools * Experience working within an Agile environment * Programming experience in one or more of the following languages Python Ruby Java JavaScript Go Groovy Scala * Server administration either Linux or Windows * Automation scripting using scripting languages such as Terraform Ansible etc * Ability to quickly acquire new skills and tools **Desirable Skills:** * GCP Certifications ideally professional * Linux Certification * Windows Server Certification * Experience operating in highly regulated industry eg Financial Services **Skills** **Mandatory Skills :** CI/CD Architecture, GCP Cloud Architecture, GCP DevOps, Terraform **About LTM** LTM is an AI-centric global technology services company and the Business Creativity partner to the world’s largest and most disruptive enterprises.
