Software Developer Intern – Cannabis \& Psychedelic Technology **Location:** In Person or Hybrid (Denver, CO Preferred) **About Us** We are a fast-growing technology and healthcare company operating in the cannabis, psychedelic, and mental health industries. Our team develops software platforms that support patient care, clinic operations, compliance, education, and research. We are looking for a highly motivated Software Developer Intern who is excited to learn, build real products, and work with cutting-edge AI-assisted development tools. What You'll Do * Develop and maintain web applications using React and modern JavaScript frameworks. * Assist with website development, enhancements, and integrations. * Work alongside experienced developers and product leaders to build new features. * Use AI-assisted development tools, including Claude Code, to accelerate development and improve productivity. * Participate in software design, testing, debugging, and deployment. * Help improve user experience, workflows, and automation across multiple platforms. * Learn modern software development practices, including rapid prototyping, AI-assisted coding, and agile development. QualificationsRequired * Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. * Experience with React and modern web development technologies. * Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, APIs, and responsive web design. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and adapting quickly. * Self-motivated, curious, and eager to contribute in a fast-paced startup environment. * Interest in healthcare, cannabis, psychedelics, mental health, or emerging technologies. Preferred * Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms. * Familiarity with Node.js, databases, cloud platforms, or modern development workflows. * Experience building or maintaining websites. * Knowledge of GoHighLevel (GHL) CRM and automation tools. * Experience with Git and collaborative software development.
