**Title:** Software Engineering Intern (Summer 2026\) **Location** : NYC **Compensation** : $15,000 for the entire summer (10 weeks) **NOTE** : Students from all class years are welcome to apply. **Keep Reading if You:** * Are a current undergraduate student passionate about AI and technology * Want hands-on experience working with a top-tier engineering team on real-world problems in entity resolution, AI systems, and data engineering * Are excited to contribute meaningfully to a fast-growing AI startup **What We Do:** DonorAtlas is building the AI layer for people data. Today, we're focused on the fundraising industry, where our software empowers organizations to efficiently find and research donors and HNW individuals. Our users are people who want to make the world a better place. In the long run, we're building the best dataset of people ever created, and the first system that uses AI for contextual entity resolution at scale. **What You'll Work On:** * *The DonorAtlas Application* : Come up with your own idea, build it, test it, ship it, hear feedback from real customers, and iterate. * *Natural-Language Search* : How can we allow users to search through the database in English? How do we intuitively and efficiently allow complex user queries like aggregations and boolean logic? ("Donors in NYC who've given mostly to small nonprofits, and >$5k to cancer research since 2023") * *Full-Stack Development* : Work across our entire tech stack, from frontend React, Typescript, and Next.js, to backend Python, SQL, AWS, and more. **What We're Looking For:** * *Builder Mindset* : You've built things from scratch and tackled problems in domains in which you had little experience. We'd love to see some things you've built yourself throughout the interview process * *Programming Experience* : Familiarity with Python or React/Typescript * *Problem-Solving Skills* : Strong analytical thinking a knack for thinking through difficult problems * *Student Status* : Current undergraduate student (returning to school after the internship) authorized to work in the US **Requirements:** * *Location* : Must be in-person in NYC for the summer (June-August, exact dates are flexible) * *Work Authorization* : Must be authorized to work in the United States * *Education* : We value experience \& skills over formal education or any specific degree **Our Hiring Process:** * *Screening Call* : A 10-minute call with one of our engineers * *Engineering Interview* : A 30-minute interview with one of our engineers where you will solve a technical problem * *One-Day Paid Trial* : A 1-day paid asyncronous trial where you will work on a small project and present it to our team **How to Apply:** Send an email to aaron@donoratlas.com (include your IDE of choice in the subject line).
