We give motivated students, graduates, career changers, and early-career professionals the opportunity to gain hands-on experience by contributing to live projects, working with interdisciplinary teams, and developing practical skills for the modern innovation economy.
This internship is designed for candidates who want experience beyond traditional classroom learning and are interested in working on real projects with practical outcomes.
**Role Description**
Legal and Ethics Ventures Institute is now accepting applications for our Remote Internship Program in AI, Robotics, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, and Emerging Technologies.
This is a broad remote internship opportunity for candidates who want practical experience across technology, innovation, and venture development. Interns will be matched with a project track based on their interests, background, availability, and current project needs.

Interns may contribute to real projects involving AI systems, robotics development, software tools, automation workflows, product research, design, documentation, testing, technical problem-solving, and startup operations.
This program is ideal for students, recent graduates, career changers, and early-career candidates who want to build practical experience, strengthen their resume, and develop portfolio-ready work in a remote innovation environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support real-world projects in AI, robotics, software engineering, mechatronics, automation, or related fields.
* Assist with research, development, testing, documentation, design, implementation, or analysis depending on the assigned track.
* Collaborate remotely with team leads, mentors, and other interns.
* Participate in team meetings when available or review recorded meetings to stay aligned.
* Complete assigned tasks and provide regular progress updates.
* Use tools such as GitHub, Notion, Discord, AI tools, development environments, automation platforms, design tools, or project-specific systems.
* Contribute ideas, feedback, and improvements to help strengthen active projects.
* Build practical work samples that may support future portfolios, resumes, interviews, or career opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills
* Interest in AI, robotics, software engineering, mechatronics, automation, product development, or emerging technology.
* Willingness to learn, contribute, and work on real-world projects.
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
* Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with programming, robotics, automation, electronics, design, data analysis, or research is a plus.
* Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, React, GitHub, CAD tools, sensors, embedded systems, AI tools, machine learning, or robotics platforms is preferred depending on the project track.
* Enrollment in or graduation from a program in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Mechatronics, Data Science, Design, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
* Personal projects, academic projects, GitHub repositories, portfolios, or previous internship experience are a plus.
