[SIRCLO Internship Programme] Software Engineer Intern (Frontend)

**Responsibilities** About the Role As a Frontend Engineer Intern at SIRCLO, specialising in web app development, you will play an important role in delivering seamless and intuitive user experiences. You will join a dynamic product squad and work closely with experienced engineers who will support your growth through mentorship and hands-on learning. Beyond contributing to the development of new features using React, you will gain practical experience building efficient, responsive, and maintainable web applications within a professional engineering environment. Key Responsibilities * Develop new features and functionalities for web applications using React. * Implement user interface designs and translate UI/UX concepts into responsive and functional application components. * Collaborate with Backend Engineers, Product Managers, and UI/UX Designers to deliver solutions that align with business and user requirements. * Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following engineering standards and best practices. * Optimise application performance and contribute to delivering a smooth user experience across various devices and platforms. * Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve code quality and development practices. * Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to resolving frontend application challenges. * Learn modern web app development methodologies, tools, and best practices through mentorship and hands-on experience. * Contribute to continuous improvements within the product and engineering teams. **Requirements** * Be a final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. * Demonstrate a solid understanding of web application development fundamentals and JavaScript or TypeScript concepts. * Show interest in, or hands-on experience with, React through academic, personal, or extracurricular projects. * Understand fundamental concepts of state management and API integration, including RESTful services. * Demonstrate attention to detail when implementing user interfaces and user experiences. * Collaborate effectively within a team environment and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Demonstrate curiosity, initiative, and a strong willingness to learn through mentorship and feedback. * Apply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to frontend and user interface challenges. * Adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
