Software Engineering Intern (m/f/d)

As a strategic enabler in asset and investment management, PanTech combines the agility and innovation of a startup with the execution power and strategic discipline of a private equity investor. We identify attractive markets, build operational platforms, and scale them systematically — both organically and through buy-and-build strategies. Currently, we are working on several initiatives, including a roll-up strategy in the property management market. As part of this effort, we are developing a proprietary CRM application that serves as the foundation for a future, fully scalable SaaS platform, designed for long-term expansion and external commercialization. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Software Engineering Intern (m/f/d) who not only executes but actively thinks along, challenges ideas, and contributes to shaping both product and technology. **Your Responsibilities** * Contribute to the conception, development, and continuous improvement of our proprietary CRM application * Design and build scalable backend APIs and database architectures * Develop intelligent chatbot flows with AI integrations * Support the definition of SaaS architectures and scalable system designs * Analyze user and business requirements and translate them into technical solutions * Actively participate in shaping the technical roadmap and product design **Your Profile** * Currently pursuing a degree or with initial hands-on experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field * Strong full-stack foundation with JavaScript/TypeScript, React (Web \& Native), Node.js, Express.js, and RESTful APIs * Solid experience with MongoDB; SQL knowledge is a plus * Good understanding of database modeling, optimization, and scalable system design * Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Git is a plus * Basic understanding of business models and financial concepts * High ownership mindset, strong initiative, and ability to work independently **What We Offer** * Hands-on experience in a technology-driven startup with a private equity approach * Deep insights into building and scaling a SaaS platform from the ground up * Direct collaboration with the founding team and key decision-makers * Real ownership and responsibility from day one * Flexible working hours and remote work options * Competitive compensation and the prospect of a long-term collaboration If you are excited about this challenging and diverse opportunity, we look forward to receiving your application (CV and, if available, GitHub or project references), including your earliest possible start date.
