Junior AI Automation Engineer — M365 Ecosyste

Most IT firms send people to fix problems — Proglite uses AI to prevent them, bringing in expert engineers only when a situation genuinely needs human judgment. We're built on outcome-based contracts, not billed hours, and we're actively building a proprietary library of AI agents that automate IT helpdesk and cybersecurity operations for Microsoft 365 environments. This role sits inside that build — and inside real client work. **About the Role** You'll work inside Proglite's AI Agent Program, building and supporting AI agents that automate IT helpdesk and security operations for Microsoft 365 environments. You'll start by working on our internal agents — the same ones powering our own service delivery — before moving into supporting live client engagements as you ramp up. This is a hands-on engineering role with direct mentorship, not a support ticket queue. You'll be working alongside senior engineers on problems that matter, from day one. **What You'll Do** * Build and maintain automation workflows using Power Automate and Microsoft Copilot Studio * Support AI-driven ticket triage and security alert workflows for Microsoft 365 environments * Work on real automation use cases: password resets, MFA issues, onboarding/offboarding, phishing and anomaly detection * Document what works, what breaks, and what's reusable — your findings feed directly into Proglite's growing internal asset library * Work directly with senior engineers on real client problems as you progress, not simulated exercises * Contribute to a tier assessment process that tracks where each automation area sits today and what the next step of maturity looks like **What We're Looking For** **Must-have:** * Solid Python fundamentals — comfortable reading and modifying code, not just generating it with AI assistance * Working knowledge of REST APIs and how to test one (e.g., Postman) * Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem — Teams, Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint — through coursework, personal use, or prior work * A personal project that involves an LLM, an agent framework, or an automation tool. * Genuine curiosity and a bias toward figuring things out independently **Nice-to-have:** * Exposure to LangChain, Copilot Studio, or n8n specifically * Prior IT helpdesk experience, or familiarity with ServiceNow or Jira Service Management * Basic security fundamentals (phishing detection, identity and access concepts)
