By combining expert-led content with modern AI tools, FAANGPrep aims to make software engineering education accessible, engaging, and strongly aligned with career outcomes. **Role Description** The Software Engineer Intern will contribute to the development and enhancement of FAANGPrep’s web platform and AI-powered tools in a remote capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, implementing, and testing backend services and APIs, writing clean and maintainable code, and collaborating with the team to improve performance, reliability, and scalability. The intern will help integrate new learning features such as interactive visualizations, coding practice modules, and interview-focused tools, while participating in code reviews and documentation. This is an internship role, offering hands-on experience with production systems, modern development practices, and exposure to the technical challenges of an education-focused SaaS product. **Qualifications** * Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design concepts. * Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with experience in at least one modern language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C\+\+). * Knowledge of Software Development practices such as version control, testing, debugging, and basic software architecture. * Experience or coursework in Back-End Web Development, including working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks. * Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. * Ability to work independently in a remote environment, communicate clearly, and collaborate effectively within a distributed team. * Interest in technical interview preparation, developer tools, and improving the learning experience for other software engineers.
