If you’re passionate about finance, data-driven decision-making, and eager to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry, this role is perfect for you! **Duties** * Assist in collecting and analyzing large datasets * Support the development of data models to identify potential risks and improve risk detection processes. * Conduct statistical analysis and quantitative research to evaluate financial risks and forecast cash flow scenarios. * Contribute to fraud prevention efforts by analyzing patterns and detecting anomalies through financial software tools. * Help prepare detailed risk reports, summaries, and presentations for internal stakeholders. * Collaborate with underwriting teams to assess creditworthiness and support financial analysis initiatives. * Participate in risk analysis meetings, providing insights based on quantitative research and financial concepts. **Requirements** * Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics or related field with a strong interest in risk management. * Demonstrated knowledge of statistical analysis, statistics, and financial concepts such as credit analysis and cash flow analysis. * Experience with data collection, data mining, and data modeling techniques; familiarity with VBA or other automation tools is a plus. * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets using financial software and quantitative analysis methods. * Excellent written communication skills for preparing clear financial report writing and documentation. * Basic understanding of banking operations, underwriting processes, and financial services industry standards. * Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
