Software Engineering Intern

We're a team of five in Berlin-Mitte building AI-native front desk software for veterinary clinics and practices. Backed by angels, early stage, shipping fast. **The role** You'll work across the full stack, ship features end-to-end, and take real ownership of product outcomes. But this isn't a pure coding role - you'll talk to users and customers, coordinate with stakeholders, and help drive product decisions. We're looking for someone who can bridge engineering, product, and design. **Requirements** * Strong working knowledge of TypeScript, React, and relational databases (SQL, postgres, db modelling) * Experience building products as part of a team - not just solo side projects * Comfortable in early-stage environments: fast pace, ambiguity, limited structure * Strong product and design taste - you care about how things look, feel, and work for the user * Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering workflows - tools like Claude Code, Cursor, agentic development environments, or similar * High ownership mindset - you drive things to completion, hold yourself accountable, and communicate with stakeholders * High grit and work ethic **Nice to have** * Prior experience at an early-stage startup * Hands-on experience with user research or customer discovery * Experience building or integrating AI-native product features **What we offer** * Real responsibility from day one in a small, focused team * Chance to shape a product early, work closely with founders, and grow fast in a high-trust environment * On-site in Berlin-Mitte, close to Hackescher Markt * 3000€/month, full-time internship
