Intern, Developer Gen AI

GenAI Developer Intern Job Profile We are seeking a curious and innovative GenAI Developer intern to join our team. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge generative AI solutions, including large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and AI-powered applications. You’ll collaborate with engineers and data scientists to design, build, and deploy intelligent systems that solve real-world problems. Key Responsibilities * Assist in building and integrating applications using generative AI models (e.g., LLMs) * Design, test, and refine prompts to improve AI outputs and reliability * Develop agents, backend services or APIs that connect AI models to applications * Work with structured and unstructured data for training, fine-tuning, or retrieval (RAG systems) * Evaluate model performance and help implement improvements (accuracy, latency, cost) * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, data, UX) * Document experiments, workflows, and technical implementations Stay current with advancements in generative AI and machine learning * Qualifications * Currently enrolled or graduated in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related program * Good programming skills in Python (preferred) , JavaScript or other programming languages. * Good understanding of APIs and software development fundamentals * Familiarity with machine learning or NLP concepts * Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills * Good communication and collaboration abilities Interest in generative AI technologies and their applications * Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) * Experience with LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex) * Knowledge of prompt engineering techniques and evaluation methods * Familiarity with vector databases and embeddings (MongoDB is preferred) * Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) * Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture Understanding of ethical AI, bias, and responsible AI practices * What You’ll Gain * Hands-on experience building GenAI-powered applications * Exposure to modern AI tools, frameworks, and workflows * Mentorship from experienced engineers and AI specialists * Opportunity to contribute to innovative, real-world AI solutions * Potential pathway to a full-time role
