Test Software Engineering Intern
Role Description
**Job Summary:**
Seeking a summer internship on Test Software Engineer who will report to the Director of Test \& Automation Engineering team. The Individual in this role will be able to utilize his knowledge on software to implement efficient and streamlined production test stations hardware/software integration for the manufacturing environment.
The intern for Test Software Engineer position will be based at Hiefo Corporation in Alhambra, CA.
The following is a list of current essential job functions of the position. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time at its discretion.
**Responsibilities:**
* Work closely with the software development engineers to augment production test systems to support new test updates and features for product specifications.
* Collaborate with Device Design Engineering teams to understand the performance requirements and establish production tests and performance specifications.
* Understand the manufacturing test failures, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and correction on the production test stations.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
* Minimum Junior level in engineering, electronics, computer science, or related technical field in school
* Proficient in at least one programming language (Visual Basic, C#/C\+\+, or Python)
* Demonstrate leadership and the ability to manage multiple tasks

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $25-30\. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.
