Role Description
***Tactix*** *i*s seeking a motivated **Edge Platform / UI Intern** to support the development of embedded and edge-computing systems . This role is ideal for an engineering student who enjoys working at the intersection of hardware, software, and user interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in developing and testing software for Raspberry Pi and other single-board computer (SBC) platforms.
* Build and optimize Python-based applications for device control, data processing, and system automation.
* Support the development of user interfaces (UI) for edge devices, including dashboards and device interaction layers.
* Integrate hardware components such as cameras, sensors, and communication modules with embedded systems.
* Assist with system debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
* Document code, workflows, and technical procedures.
Requirements
* Currently pursuing B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related engineering fields.
* Hands-on experience with Raspberry Pi or similar single-board computers.
* Proficiency in Python programming.
* Basic understanding of Linux-based systems and embedded development environments.
* Familiarity with UI frameworks, device interfaces, or lightweight dashboards is an advantage.
* Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to experiment with hardware-software integration.
Preferred Skills (Optional)
* Experience with camera modules, image processing, or computer vision.
* Familiarity with Git version control.
* Exposure to IoT systems or edge computing platforms.
