**About The Team You Are Joining**
Reporting to the Principal Data Scientist, the Intern Data Scientist will work within the Data Science team and support the technical implementation of cross-divisional data science solutions to use cases that span across multiple business areas. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and understanding of statistical modelling, machine learning, and data analysis techniques.
**What Your Day Would Be Like**
You will be an integral part of the Data Science team, and your main responsibilities will include:
* Collecting and cleaning data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
* Conducting analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions by leveraging data science methods.
* Assisting in the development and implementation of statistical modeling and machine learning solutions that integrate with existing systems and processes.
* Supporting the generation of actionable insights using machine learning models by working with data from multiple data sources.
* Coordinating and supporting engagement activities such as email communications for setting up meetups.
* Contributing and assisting to the project management of the data science portfolio, including the monitoring, and tracking of project progress, timelines, and deliverables.
* Supporting the preparation of slides, visualizations, and other presentation materials for key internal and external meetings related to Data Science.
**We would love to hear from you if**
* Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or engineering.
* Have graduated within the last 12 months
* Passionate about analysing data or previous internship or work experience in a data-related field, including experience in data science and analysis (advantageous).
* Knowledge in ML, time series or deep learning algorithms for regression, classification, forecasting or clustering problems.
* Familiarity with natural language processing techniques and Generative AI.
* Good knowledge in Python and SQL programming.
* Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Fluent reading, writing, and speaking abilities in English.
