**LA Tech Rising Internship: Technical Track** **Spring 2027** Ready to build skills, work on technical projects, and step into LA's tech community? The Rising Internship Program: Technical Track puts you inside the world of cybersecurity, software engineering, and artificial intelligence through mentors, hands-on projects, and a network that opens doors. ***THIS INTERNSHIP IS ONLY OPEN TO LOS ANGELES COUNTY APPLICANTS.*** **About LA-Tech.org** LA-Tech.org connects the Los Angeles tech community with untapped talent, opening doors to internships, jobs, and careers for the next generation of leaders. We're a 501(c)(3\) nonprofit coalition of LA area tech companies working together to close the access gap, not a skills gap, and to build economic opportunity in historically underrepresented communities across LA County. **What You'll Do** As a Technical Track Intern, you'll gain exposure to cybersecurity, software engineering, and artificial intelligence, guided by mentors from LA's tech community (and beyond). This is mostly a virtual internship, with three mandatory in-person events built in so you can meet your cohort and the people investing in your growth: the Scholar Retreat, the Tech Campus Site Visit, and the Culminating Celebration. **Live Internship Sessions (virtual):** * Every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00-6:30 PM PST **What You'll Gain** * Exposure to technical projects and concepts, not just theory * Mentorship from tech professionals working in cybersecurity, software engineering, and artificial intelligence * A cohort of peers building their tech careers alongside you * A direct line into LA's tech community and the connections that come with it **Qualifications** * Currently reside in Los Angeles County, CA * Available to work part-time for 10 to 15 hours per week for \~13 weeks * *View more on qualifications on the official application page.* **Preferred Qualifications** * Some exposure to technical projects, or a strong interest in learning more about technical concepts * Experience working in collaborative teams * Prior experience in extracurricular activities that shows leadership, curiosity, and a willingness to grow **Program Timeline** * Start date: February 2027 * End date: May 2027 **Questions?** Email rising@la-tech.org
