**Internship - 1-year commitment**
**Location: Hong Kong**
**About the Role**
You will be working in a team of 50 consisting of experienced back-end developers, front-end developers, product managers, and UI/UX designers. Our team uses a two-week sprint that segments our work into tasks that can easily be completed, and closes out work items quickly. We appreciate talents who are eager to learn more and explore the best way of doing it - and I'm sure you will benefit from our fun and fast-paced culture!
**Responsibilities**
* Being part of the engineering team and collaborate with our product manager to constantly ship new features of our social commerce platform
* Ensure Software Engineering alignment with established best practices
* Review technology, development methodology, and best practices while balancing the creation of new functionality, immediate needs of existing customers, and augmentation/management of architecture/infrastructure
* Help to establish an engineering culture of users and drivers first mentality, with business performance as the front of mind, ensure engineering understands the business direction and how individual work facilitates end goals
**What You'll Need**
* Experience in software development using C#, ASP.NET Core would be preferred (the team uses microservices hence other relevant languages would be great too)
* Strong and demonstrated written and verbal communication skills in English \& Cantonese
* Strong project management skills and ability to adhere to tight timelines
* Organised, meticulous and detail-oriented
* Have good problem-solving skills
* Good team player, self-motivated, and able to work independently
* Cultural sensitivity to work in a regional role with different country teams
