(Embedded) Software Developer

To strengthen our engineering team, we are looking for a dedicated (embedded) software developer to join us immediately, working across customer projects and the development of our product. Key words: C, C\+\+, hardware-software co-design, Embedded C, AMD Vivado / Vitis, AMD FPGA and MPSoC platforms, Raspberry Pi 5, GIT, Jenkins Your responsibilities: * Design, development and testing of embedded system modules using C and C\+\+ * Writing clean, testable and maintainable code while designing new architectures and extending existing embedded software modules * Developing software that interfaces directly with hardware components while also providing user-facing functionality * Developing host-side software for Windows and Linux systems interacting with embedded devices * Implementing automated tests and verification strategies to ensure software quality * Close collaboration with system architects and support for hardware bring-up and low-level system integration Your profile: * You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable field * You have 0-5 years of relevant professional experience * Strong interest and hands-on experience in embedded software development using C / C\+\+ * Experience in python programming for test automation * Good understanding of hardware–software interaction and system-level design * Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical documentation * Proactive, structured, and self-driven working style * Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate * Experience with modern development tools and workflows (e.g. Git, Jira) What we offer: * Easily accessible office with U4/U6 subway connections (Längenfeldgasse) * Annual public transport pass for Vienna provided * Flexible working hours with no fixed core hours * Collaborative and experienced team with a positive working atmosphere * Exciting and innovative projects * An expanding company that encourages proactive contribution and initiative * Freedom to choose your own work hardware * Regular team events to foster connection and team spirit **Work location:** 1120 Vienna **Working hours:** 38,5h **Start date:** Immediately / by agreement **Compensation:** The minimum annual gross salary is €53\.200\.
