Over a focused 6-month internship, you will work across the entire stack — building responsive React front-ends and robust Node.js back-ends — while collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role with a clear performance-based path to a full-time position for interns who excel. **Key Responsibilities** • Develop, optimize, and maintain full-stack features using React (front-end) and Node.js (back-end). • Build reusable, well-structured React and Next.js components and translate UI/UX designs into responsive HTML, CSS, and TypeScript. • Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and back-end services using Node.js and frameworks such as Express or NestJS. • Model, query, and manage data in SQL and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB). • Integrate front-end applications with internal and third-party APIs, ensuring secure and reliable data flow. • Implement authentication, authorization, and basic security best practices across the stack. • Debug and resolve performance, compatibility, and responsiveness issues on both client and server. • Write clean, scalable, reusable, and well-documented code, and participate in code reviews. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, on-time product delivery. • Stay current with modern web development tools, frameworks, and best practices across the full stack. **Education \& Experience** • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 0–1 year of experience; prior internships, academic projects, or a strong personal portfolio demonstrating full-stack work are highly valued. • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript. • Working knowledge of React (and ideally Next.js) for building front-end applications. • Working knowledge of Node.js and at least one back-end framework such as Express or NestJS. • Familiarity with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and writing basic queries. • Exposure to REST API design and integration. • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS is a plus. • Familiarity with data visualization (Chart.js, D3\.js) or 3D graphics (Three.js) is a plus. **Skills Required** • Proficiency (or strong foundations) in React, Redux, Next.js, and TypeScript. • Hands-on experience building back-end services with Node.js (Express/NestJS). • Understanding of API integration, front-end architecture, and back-end/server fundamentals. • Familiarity with databases, data modeling, and basic query optimization. • Knowledge of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization. • Experience with CSS libraries/frameworks such as Tailwind, Bootstrap, SASS, and CSS Grid. • Proficiency with version control tools like Git. • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and debugging skills. **What You'll Do** • Build and maintain web applications — front-end and back-end — for international-scale platforms. • Translate design mock-ups into functional, responsive, and visually rich interfaces. • Design and implement APIs and services, and connect them to the front-end end to end. • Ensure applications meet performance, accessibility, security, and scalability standards. • Continuously monitor, maintain, and improve code quality and application performance across the stack. **What You Will Bring** • A genuine interest in building scalable, interactive, end-to-end web applications. • A solid grasp of front-end and back-end fundamentals and best practices. • Passion for clean code, great user experience, and web performance. • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment. • Startup DNA → bias to action, comfort with ambiguity, love for fast iteration, and a growth mindset. **Internship Structure \& Growth** This is a 6-month, full-time onsite internship in Bengaluru.
