Data Analytics Co-Op

REV is acknowledged throughout our industry as a leader in safety. **Position Overview:** We are looking for a co-op student to support our data and analytics work. You will help gather and analyze data, build dashboards and reports, and automate recurring tasks. This role is ideal for a senior undergraduate or Master’s student interested in practical analytics and AI/data science applications in a business environment. **Key Responsibilities:** * Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources (including databases) * Write SQL queries to extract and validate data for analysis and reporting * Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders * Create and update calculations/measures in Power BI using basic DAX * Develop Excel-based analysis tools, templates, and automated reports * Create or maintain Excel macros (VBA) to improve efficiency and reduce manual work * Support documentation of data definitions, report logic, and recurring processes * Collaborate with team members to understand reporting needs and deliver insights **Qualifications:** * 4th-year undergraduate or Master’s level student in Data Science (AI development preferred) or a related program * Strong Excel skills, including experience writing macros (VBA) * Experience with Power BI, including building reports and using basic DAX * Experience working with databases and writing SQL queries * Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets * Good communication skills and ability to explain findings clearly **Start Date:** Sept 1, 2026 **Location:** Calgary, AB **Duration:** 4 or 8 months **Items to Include in Application:** Resume **Application Closing Date:** Will remain open until suitable candidate is found. **Equal Opportunity Employer Statement** : REV Engineering is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status.
