**Title:** Software Development Engineer (SDE) / Intern **Location:** Gurgaon (In-office) **Duration:** Full-time **About Us** 1Fi is a next-generation affordability platform that enables brands to offer the **longest and most affordable no-cost EMIs at the point of sale** , backed by customers’ **mutual fund holdings as collateral** . We are building a new category by combining the robustness of **Loan Against Securities** with the simplicity of modern checkout financing. Our platform sits at the intersection of **fintech, lending, capital markets, and commerce** . **Role Overview** We are building are core tech team from scratch and are looking for **high-energy SDEs / Founding Engineers** who want to **build products from 0 → 1 and then scale** . You will work directly with the **CTO and founding team** to build the core systems powering our lending and checkout infrastructure. **Key Responsibilities** ·       Build responsive web interfaces using React / Next.js ·       Develop scalable backend APIs using Node.js / Express.js ·       Connect frontend, backend, and databases for seamless product flows ·       Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code ·       Debug, optimize, and improve performance across the stack **Requirements** ·       Strong fundamentals in **JavaScript and full-stack development** ·       Experience with **Next.js, React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and REST APIs** ·       Familiarity with **SQL / NoSQL databases** ·       Comfortable with **DevOps tools and workflows** such as **Docker, Git/GitHub, and Kubernetes** ·       Builder mindset with experience in **side projects, hackathons, or shipping products** ·       Comfortable working in a **fast-paced startup environment** **Why You Should Join Us** · **Build real fintech infrastructure** from scratch and learn how financial products work end-to-end · **Work directly with an experienced CTO** and get hands-on exposure to system architecture and product decisions · **Accelerated learning curve** in a high-ownership environment designed to make you a **CTO-level technologist in the next few years**
