AI Native Engineer Intern (Frontend)

Transfez (YC W22\) is an Indonesian fintech startup licensed by Bank Indonesia, helping people send money from Indonesia to 70\+ countries across the globe. We are building a "Company Brain": A living knowledge layer that allows AI agents and human engineers to instantly query our organizational context, as well as automate other AI workflows beyond it. **What you'll do:** 1\. Map the Frontend: Analyze our existing frontend repositories (React/React Native) and turn raw component code into structured context. 2\. Generate AI Context: Create auto-updating, human- and LLM-readable documentation for our frontend systems and UI conventions. 3\. Build the POC: Develop an autonomous, agentic pipeline capable of analyzing the existing frontend repository and automatically generating a verified, non-breaking Pull Request (PR) for a targeted UI/component update. 4\. Develop Workflow Automations: Based on the understanding of AI and the business process, able to work on specific automations for a variety of business functions. 5\. Harness AI Development: Utilize AI coding assistants and best practices to accelerate your own development and testing. **Requirements:** 1\. Currently pursuing or a fresh graduate from a degree in a related field. 2\. Solid experience in modern frontend development (React Native for Mobile, React for Web) and deployment. 3\. AI Native: Experience in Python specifically for AI development and agentic workflows (e.g., LangChain, RAG), experience in n8n or another workflow automation platform is preferred as well. 4\. Demonstrated project experience with unit testing and deploying software and/or AI features. 5\. High agency: able to work iteratively, operate independently, and deliver in a fast-paced, startup environment. **Nice to have:** 1\. Advanced AI Tooling \& MCPs: Familiar with autonomous coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot). Experience extending these agents using custom plugins, custom tools 2\.
