Role Description

**About GloPros** GloPros is an AI-powered recruitment platform built for the next generation of global hiring. We position ourselves as a service as a software company (SaaS 2\.0\). We sit at the intersection of intelligent candidate matching, recruiter productivity, and deep integrations across LinkedIn and worldwide HR and recruitment platforms. Our product is already in production and growing fast, a scale-up with the energy of an early-stage company and the infrastructure discipline of a mature engineering team. We believe the future of recruitment is agent-driven: voice agents that qualify candidates at scale, sourcing agents that find talent across global platforms, and matching agents that explain their reasoning. This role exists to build that future. You will have the freedom to propose, design, and ship your own AI agents and features if you have an idea that makes recruiters faster or smarter, we want to hear it and we will back it. **About the Role** We're looking for a junior or intern frontend developer to join our team building features in a modern React/Next.js codebase. You'll ship real production code from day one working through tickets, writing tests, and collaborating on small, well-scoped pull requests. This role is a fit for self-taught developers with solid fundamentals; prior professional experience is not required. What matters is that you can build features competently and reason about your work. **What You'll Bring (Must-Have)** These are core competencies you should have independent of any AI tooling. You should be able to build a feature from a spec on your own if needed. * **Next.js / React fundamentals** — routing, data fetching patterns, component composition, hooks, and controlled forms. * **CSS proficiency** — layout with flexbox and grid, responsive design, and a real understanding of specificity and the cascade (not just copy-pasting classes). * **Styled-components (or equivalent CSS-in-JS)** — component-scoped styling, props-driven variants, and theming basics. * **Unit testing** — you can write a Jest/RTL test from scratch for a component or hook, not just read one. We ship tests with every PR, so this is a production skill, not a bonus. * **Reading \& scoping work** — you can read a Jira ticket, ask clarifying questions, and give a rough complexity/time estimate before starting. You can break a ticket into a sequence of changes, since we decompose features into small, sequential PRs. * **Basic Git operations** — clone, branch, commit, push, open an MR, resolve a simple merge conflict, and read a diff. **Nice to See (Should-Have)** * **Agentic development fluency** — comfortable using an AI coding agent (Cursor, Claude, etc.) for \~30% of routine work: writing clear instructions and reviewing/correcting agent output. This supplements the fundamentals above; it doesn't replace them. * **TypeScript comfort** — typing components, props, and hooks. **Bonus Points (Nice-to-Have)** * Jira experience (ticket hygiene, linking, status flow). * Figma experience (reading design specs, inspecting tokens and measurements). * GitLab experience specifically (MRs, pipelines, review flow) — general Git/GitHub experience transfers fine. * Familiarity with i18next, MUI, Storybook, or SWR — these can be learned on the job. **Not Required** We want to be clear about what you don't need for this role: * Deep Git workflow design (branching strategy, rebase mastery, hooks). * Feature-flag systems, cross-component refactors, or backend API / state-machine design. * Prior professional experience — self-taught candidates with solid fundamentals are in scope.
