Cloud Engineer Intern – Job Description **Organization:** Hindustan Standards Bureau **Role:** Cloud Engineer Intern **Location:** Peenya 2nd Stage, Bangalore, India **Duration:** **1 Year Agreement** (6 Months Internship) **Stipend/Salary:** 5000/- Per Month **About the Role**: We are looking for a motivated Cloud Engineer Intern who is passionate about working with modern cloud infrastructure and cloud-native technologies. The intern will primarily work with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to support the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cloud-based systems and applications. This role focuses on cloud infrastructure management, cloud networking, containerized deployments using Docker, and automation through CI/CD pipelines. The intern will gain hands-on experience in building and managing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud environments while collaborating with development and DevOps teams. **Key Responsibilities:** Assist in deploying and managing cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services. Work with core AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, and Load Balancers. Support cloud networking setup including VPC, subnets, route tables, security groups, and NAT gateways. Assist in containerizing applications using Docker. Help build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions. Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and troubleshoot deployment issues. Support cloud security best practices including IAM roles, policies, and access management. Assist in maintaining documentation for cloud infrastructure and deployments. **Required Skills:** Basic understanding of Cloud Computing concepts. Familiarity with Amazon Web Services services such as EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC. Basic knowledge of cloud networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, subnets, routing). Understanding of Linux operating system and basic command-line usage. Basic knowledge of Docker containers. Understanding of CI/CD concepts and automation pipelines. Familiarity with Git version control. Good to Have Skills Knowledge of Kubernetes. Basic scripting knowledge (Bash or Python). Exposure to monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Grafana. Understanding of DevOps practices and cloud automation. **Education**: Currently pursuing or recently completed B.E / B.Tech / BCA / MCA in: Computer Science Information Technology Cloud Computing Or a related field.
