**About ConnectABILITY**
ConnectABILITY is a mission-driven technology platform designed to connect individuals with disabilities and their families to specialized service providers such as occupational therapists, adaptive fitness trainers, physical therapists, educators, and community programs.
Our goal is to simplify the process of finding qualified providers, scheduling services, and building supportive communities through one unified digital platform.
We are currently building our **Minimum Viable Product (MVP)** and are looking for talented technical collaborators who want to gain real startup experience while helping build technology that improves accessibility and quality of life for millions of families.
**Position Overview**
We are seeking **technical interns or freelance developers** interested in contributing to the early development of a startup platform.
You will work directly with the founder to help build and refine the core features of the ConnectABILITY platform, including user profiles, provider directories, scheduling tools, and accessibility-focused design.

Responsibilities
Depending on your skills and interests, responsibilities may include:
* Developing frontend components for the web platform
* Building backend APIs and database structures

* Designing accessible UI/UX for users with disabilities
* Integrating scheduling and messaging features
* Assisting with platform architecture and scalability
* Collaborating on product features and technical decisions
Preferred Skills
We are open to different technical backgrounds, but experience in any of the following is a plus:
* JavaScript / TypeScript
* React / Next.js
* Node.js
* Supabase / Firebase / PostgreSQL
* Tailwind CSS
* API development
* Authentication systems
* Accessibility-focused design (ADA / WCAG)
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is:
* Curious and eager to build real-world products
* Interested in startups or social impact technology
* Comfortable working in a fast-moving, collaborative environment
* Self-motivated and able to work remotely
Bonus if you have interest or experience in:
